Chenzhong Li

Dr. Chenzhong Li is a full professor and the director of the Nanobioengineering / Bioelctronics Lab at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Florida International University. He is also the program director of Biosensing program at National Science Foundation. Dr. Li is an expert in biomedical devices in particular for Point of Care Testings and cell/organ on a chip.



Dhirendra S. Katti

He is currently Professor at Department of Biological Sciences & Bioengineering (BSBE) IIT Kanpur. He has broad areas of Research Interest in Iomaterials, controlled drug delivery systems, tissue engineering, and nanobiotechnology. Dr. Katti received his Ph.D from University of Mumbai and his post-doctoral training from Drexel University, USA.


Joshua Hutcheson, Ph.D.

Dr. Joshua Hutcheson joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University in August 2016. He is also an active member of the Biomolecular Science Institute at FIU.



Dr. Ranu Jung

The College of Engineering and Computing at Florida International University (FIU), has appointed Dr. Ranu Jung as the Wallace H. Coulter Eminent Scholars Chair of Biomedical Engineering and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering starting in January 2011. Professor Jung is a leader in the rapidly expanding fields of Neural Engineering and Computational Neuroscience.

He is currently Professor of Chemical Engineering at Arizona State University. He has broad areas of Research Interest in Molecular and Nanoscale Bioengineering, Non-viral Gene Delivery, Synergistic (Combination) Cancer Treatments, Intracellular Trafficking of Nanoscale Cargo in Cancer Cells, Cancer Gene Therapy, Radiation Sensing and Treatment, Tissue Models of Cancer Diseases, Microfluidic Devices for Drug Screening, Biological Separations.

He has been retired from the post of Professor of department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology of IIT Delhi. His Major Research interest are Lignocellulose Bioconversion of renewable resources to value added products, ; Biofuels and Biorefinery , Plant Cell Technology.
